Reagan came all the way from Columbia, MO for a portrait session at the Jewel Box and the pagoda (near the Muny) in Forest Park. We took these in early September when the weather was still warm and sunny, and I think we captured the ‘end of summer’ mood in these photos well.
I rented the Sony 85mm 1.4 GM from Schillers , and although it was *very* heavy, the photos turned out beautifully, so I’d say the GM lives up to its name.
One of my favorite things to do when taking pictures is to incorporate plants into the background to add some color, texture, and interest. During this session, I looked for all the unique places with beautiful greenery and we ended up walking through a lot of narrow paths between bushes and trees until we found the right locations. Even though many people end up having their photos taken at Forest Park, if you can find the hidden gems, you can still get unique photos š
